MAX1090H640-R Waterproof Case (Removable Lid)

The MAX1090H640-R is the largest case in the 1090 series at 480 litres. Internal depth is 640mm, split between a deep 200mm lid and a 440mm base, so unlike the H510 you get real packing depth on both halves.

It weighs 24.8kg empty, which is close to what a lot of couriers will let one person handle before they start charging a two-person delivery fee. It rolls on double wheels with a fold-down pull handle, and has bottom-side handles for lifting.

Removable lid only

This size is made with a lift-off lid only, and for good reason. A hinged lid over 640mm of depth would be unworkable to load. Release the 12 latches, lift the lid clear using the side handles, and you have an open 1090 x 680mm tray with 440mm of clearance.

Choosing between the 1090 sizes

All four cases in the series share the same 1178 x 780mm footprint, so they stack and palletise identically. Only the height changes.

Interior

Supplied empty. At this volume most customers fit it out rather than pack it loose, and we cut custom foam inserts in our Melbourne workshop from your drawings or from the equipment itself.

The 1178 x 780mm external footprint sits inside a 1200 x 800mm Euro pallet with room to strap. On a standard Australian 1165 x 1165mm pallet it overhangs the long side by 13mm, so check with your carrier before palletising a run of them.
